I predict that Harlan County High School wil win more games than they did last year...lol. JK, I say optimistically 7-2 regular season. Breathitt/Belfry make it tough to think regional champ, but I think they will be very good for a first year program.

I think McCreary County will have their 1st ever winning season. They should win 6 games and with any luck maybe 1 more! Anything after that would be God given.

Breathitt will win about 13 to 14 games. Only losing to Johnson Central or Belfry, those are they only two schools that I see really present a problume for the Bobcats.

So you are predicting a State Finals appearance for the Bobcats? For them to reach 14 wins they would have to go 10-0 in regular season and reach the State Finals. Can we count on your prediction? Although they may be favored there are at least 4 teams on their schedule that could beat them.

Not disagreeing with you Stat but just wondering...are you not believing the hype that the 08' Rams have been getting? Why only five or six games?

 

Im not buying the hype. I think if teams can stack and stop the run, Raceland will have hard time scoring. They play Fairview on the road this year , so will probably lose that one. I'm just stating my opinion (we all have one). Also, Rams lost a very good kicker from last year. Who's kicking this year?

They have never really had an administration that supported it. And even now, they don't invest much into their coaches. I think talent alone is what will win McCreary some games..
