In the 7th grade game, Walton was up 15 to 0 at the end of the first quarter and went on to win 47 to 28. Walton's 7th grade team improved their record to 8-0. The 8th grade game was extremely competitive with the lead exchanging hands several times.

Moeves and Mcneil are two of my favorite 7th grade guards in the state. Walton 7th has to be pretty good.

I'm not sure of the names, but I was told the guard that played all game for the 8th grade was a true 7th grader.

 

He was tough, but he let the game get to him and started to lose his composure in the 4th.

Not both, I believe only one is. Why does that matter? Show me a school that has a good middle school team and I bet you'll find some holdbacks.

The Walton-Verona 7th grade team improved to 10-0 tonight with a win over Owen County. They have Gray next week at Gray. Their schedule gets a little tougher from here on out as they still have Ockerman, Camp Ernst, RA Jones, and Conner left on the schedule.
