Griffey traded to Chisox

Featured Replies

I was a little overboard with Triple A, Didn't say either were better, but this year if you look at the numbers you would be silly to not think these three were better than him this year.

I have looked at their numbers, and Griffey's are better than all 3....Show me what I'm missing?

And I think you're still dreaming about the Griffey of yesteryear. The Griffey of today is a very average ballplayer.

Who happens to be on a team of a bunch of below average to average ballplayers...He is one of their best players anyway you slice it.

Most of the insiders around baseball think this is a really bad move for Chicago...

And they have been this decade? Come on.

Come on what? I feel Bob Castellini has been very interested in winning since he's taken over the Reds.

Because if they trade Dunn they are not interested in winning.

How do you know until you see what they do with the huge stash of money they'd have?

Is it because they really don't have a place for Griffey to play? It can't be because of what they gave up...

Good point, but they will lose a lot more without them. They will be Nats bad.

Yeah. Thats the goal. Be better than the worst.

He's been traded agaaaiiinnn!

New Bronson jingle!!!!

Oh well, I guess we just disagree. Moot point anyways since he's gone. ;)

What have they done in the past 8 years that has made you think they're interested in winning before?

I think Bob Castellini has shown that he is very interested in winning since he took over. Carl Linder Jr. before that, not so much.

Absolutely agree. Can't wait to see what Walt has in store.

Who are they going to get with that large stash of money that is more productive than Dunn?

It's because he's no longer productive...

Wow, talk about giving a guy down the road and picking sides...

The guy took less money to come here and play...I guarantee everyone of you Reds fans thought it was great and he was going to be the savior..Well bad luck happened and he couldn't play...Not his fault...Now you'd rather have Adam Dunn who apparently isn't the solution either..

Dunn nor Griffey is the answer to the Reds problem, but to give Griffey down the road is just ridiculous and petty..Shoot I'd say he's glad he's leaving Cincy..I would be too if I were hearing half of the things people are saying about him.

Dunn is not the solution to the Reds problem....He may not be the problem but he's no where near the solution to it either.

Look at the numbers and tell me how you say Griff is better, Keep in mind he has batted in the three hole all year.

Edwins Numbers are better, Bruces Numbers would be better had he played a whole season, Keep won't have the power numbers, but he plays his role ten times better than JR. Played his. See Ya Griff. Nice wasting 8 years with ya. If you honestly think the reds will be worse in the future and now with out Griff hitting third, you need to take your Griff blinders off.
