mcpapa
Rare, but I only trust myself and my dad to cook it correctly. Anything over mid-rare is "ruint." Amen to that.

gametime
Medium rare to slightly medium. I've been using a dry rub from Omaha steaks I like a lot, and I love Stubbs marinade on ribeyes and flat irons...
Jim Schue
So...you fellas who like it rare. I guess you can't eat steak at restraunts, because I dont think they will cook it like that...do they? Why eat steaks at a restaurant when I can do a better job cooking it at home, and for a fraction of the cost?

RockPride
So...you fellas who like it rare. I guess you can't eat steak at restraunts, because I dont think they will cook it like that...do they? They absolutely do. At least the ones I go to. Though I normally only order steaks at Morton's, or Ruby's. That said, my favorite burger place will cook my burger Medium Rare, which I love. If a place won't cook a burger to order, I won't eat there.

Yes actually you can...If you look on the menu's though most have a message regarding steaks saying that they do not recommend or encourage the consumption of consuming any meat that isn't cooked well done. Sorta like a disclaimer.
