July 11, 200818 yr Medium well and if made at home, I use a chicken/poultry seasoning. I prefer New York Strip cut and A1 sauce, on the side.
July 11, 200818 yr Medium Rare with sautéed mushrooms on the side. Ditto for me. Ribeye or a Porterhouse I also enjoy venison steaks, especially the tenderloin (backstrap), imo a well seasoned and well prepared (Medium rare) venison backstrap cannot be beat. July 11, 200818 yr Medium Well soaked in Dale's Seasoning. :dancingpa If the steak is not soaked in Dale's, I soak it in A1. I also eat EVERY piece of fat that is available & usually take the other people's fat from there steak, lol.
July 11, 200818 yr This has happened to me every time I've ever ordered a steak or a burger. The waitress gets all upset and warns you not to order anything less than medium. I have never had a problem at any of our restaraunts here in ordering medium rare. I always order my burgers well done though.
July 11, 200818 yr I like mine rare to medium rare. I once told a waitress to tell the cook "Just put it on the grill, count to 10, then flip it and count to 10 again then bring it to me." You should have seen the look I got for that one.
July 11, 200818 yr So...you fellas who like it rare. I guess you can't eat steak at restraunts, because I dont think they will cook it like that...do they? A GOOD restaurant will. Salt and pepper the steak, run it through a warm room then put on plate. All the prep needed.
July 11, 200818 yr Guys, most restaurants that serve steak will cook it rare. It's generally burgers they won't cook under mid-well.
