How do You Like Your Steaks?

I guess I'll be the odd man out. Like my steak well done served with sauteed shrooms on the side.

Let's see. Meeting in Vanceburg tonight. Produce auction tomorrow night to get some green beans and potatoes to go with the steaks. Community College golf scramble on Saturday. Maybe Sunday?

Medium well and if made at home, I use a chicken/poultry seasoning. I prefer New York Strip cut and A1 sauce, on the side.

Ditto for me. Ribeye or a Porterhouse

 

I also enjoy venison steaks, especially the tenderloin (backstrap), imo a well seasoned and well prepared (Medium rare) venison backstrap cannot be beat. I would much rather eat wild game than anything from a store / domestic.

If the steak is not soaked in Dale's, I soak it in A1.

 

I also eat EVERY piece of fat that is available & usually take the other people's fat from there steak, lol.

This has happened to me every time I've ever ordered a steak or a burger. The waitress gets all upset and warns you not to order anything less than medium.

 

I have never had a problem at any of our restaraunts here in ordering medium rare. I always order my burgers well done though.

I like mine rare to medium rare. I once told a waitress to tell the cook "Just put it on the grill, count to 10, then flip it and count to 10 again then bring it to me." You should have seen the look I got for that one.

So...you fellas who like it rare. I guess you can't eat steak at restraunts, because I dont think they will cook it like that...do they?

 

A GOOD restaurant will.

 

Salt and pepper the steak, run it through a warm room then put on plate.

 

All the prep needed.

Guys, most restaurants that serve steak will cook it rare. It's generally burgers they won't cook under mid-well.
