November 13, 200817 yr I have a confession...I hate Ale 8.. People ask why and I say I think it's nasty, and then they proceed to ask if I'm from a different state...in a serious manner...

Same here, think it tastes disgusting. My dad lived in Winchester from when I was in around 5'th grade until I was well into high school. They were active in church's and what not down there, when I'd pass on the Ale 8, they'd look at me like I was the anti christ. I could quickly bring up UK b-ball though and all was good in the world again.
November 13, 200817 yr Your 5th wife was telling me about that the other day. :sssh: Hey, I resemble that remark!!
November 14, 200817 yr Ouch:lol: My dad can play the start to the song Roundabout! Lets see you get that one BF. I used to get some of it but guitar is not my thing. I play like horse puckey, but I can play that. The one song I always wished I could play was Classical Gas.
November 14, 200817 yr Here's a few from me.... I hate sweet potatoes. I almost always have to wear a hat. I tuck the loops of my shoe laces in the sides of my shoes because I don't like the way they look. I am a big fan of socks and sandals. I am not a big fan of Thanksgiving food. I refuse to put steak sauce on a steak. I set my alarm clock 30 minutes before I actually have to get up just so I can have the wonderful feeling of knowing I don't have to get up for another half hour. The fixings (lettuce, tomato, etc.) on my cheeseburger always have to be on top of the burger and not under it or I will take it apart and reconstruct.

Love sweet potato pie, I can eat a baked sweet potato but not those extraordinarily nasty canned things. There are few things more vile. I wear ball/golf caps outside most of the time. Especially if I'm due for a haircut. The shoelace thing is just weird. I will wear socks with sandals if the sandals are "closed". I have a pair of Bjorndals that I have just about worn to death. I love Thanksgiving food, except for cranberry sauce and the aforementioned candied nasties. I like to take the leftover turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, scalloped oysters, etc. and mix them all together and cram between two slices of bread. Yummo! I will put just a dash of steak sauce on a steak, but a really, really good steak doesn't need any. I wait until everyone is out of the house in the morning, then I go back to sleep for 30 minutes. As to the bolded, I thought that this was one of the basic rules for everyday life. OF COURSE the fixings go on top of the burger; to prepare it otherwise is blasphemous.

November 14, 200817 yr I'm claustrophobic. I hate Styrofoam with a passion because of its sound.Amen! Glad I'm not the only one on the planet with styro-issues.

Rachel Ray? I HATE to wear shoes. I despise shoes. I do understand the value of them in cold weather, especially in snowy condidions. I cannot leave my desk a mess when I leave work. I have files for everything, and everything has to be in a certain place. My red swingline stapler has to be right between the tape dispenser and my adding machine. Speaking of adding machines...mine is about 20 years old. I hate the new adding machines they have out there. And as much as I use spreadsheets, I still MUST have my clunker adding machine or I don't feel like I have everything I need to do my job. I have to sleep on the right side of the bed. I rarely make my bed. Pretty much only on weekends. I figure even when I get home, there's only a couple of hours till I get back in it, so it's wasted effort. I never made my kids clean their rooms. I always figured I could shut their doors if I didn't like what I saw, and weirdly enough....they're both very neat people even after my refusal to adhere to the first rule of good parenthood.
November 14, 200817 yr To the bolded...who are you? Rachel Ray? Ironically, I was about to ask him if he'd been hangin' out with you too much. My red swingline stapler has to be right between the tape dispenser and my adding machine.I was told I could keep my stapler between my tape dispenser and my adding machine so I think I should have the right to keep my stapler where I want it during regular business hours as long as it doesn't interfere with my job duties and I really don't think the my stapler is any interference as long as I keep it between my tape dispenser and my adding machine...And I'm perfectly willing to burn this place down if I have to...
November 15, 200817 yr My red swingline stapler has to be right between the tape dispenser and my adding machine. Milton would approve.
