I've Got a Confession, I....

....:scared: Big ones are great, with chili or putting Monterey Jack Cheese, on each. Not sharing, isn't nice RM but you could be persuaded, if someone had some ice cream and wanted to trade....:D

Rats! :irked: Why must you taunt me so? What a conundrum. :irked:

It's just my nature and Type "A" personality. Besides, you know how much fun it is.

:D

All right, here's a confession. This morning when I couldn't sleep (see the thread about cold remedies), I watched a movie on the Lifetime Channel. There, I said it.

It was called Akeelah and the Bee, about a girl from southern California who qualifies for the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Lawrence Fishburne plays her coach; and in an odd bit of casting, her middle-school principal is played by Curtis Armstrong. For we who are "Revenge of the Nerds" devotees, he was "Booger".

The movie wasn't all that bad.

Any White Cheddar Cheez-It fans out there?

They are quite awesome. However, wife always gets the original. I must go to market myself or do without.

Aren't there Cheez-Its that are "duos", for example, parmesan and queso in the same box? I like those.

So, regarding the Cheez-Its. I don't like to shake them out into a bowl or onto a plate. I like to just grab them from the box and eat them.

Here's the confession. When I'm finished, I LOVE to lick the salt and the crumbs off my fingertips. I like that just about as much as I like the crackers.

I'm too lazy to go back and read every post in this thread, so if this is a repeat I apologize in advance.

I like to scrape the little melted "cheese triangles" off the wrappers of fast food burgers and eat them. Makes me feel like I got a little bonus along with my burger.

That movie is AWESOME! I own it!

Okay...

...I'll admit it...

...I too am an out-of-control wrapper-licker.

I liked the use of mnenomic devices such as tapping in rhythm, skipping rope, etc.

This may be apples and oranges, but it reminded me of an interview I saw years ago (maybe on Carson) with Mel Tillis, who stuttered. He said that he could talk one syllable at a time in perfect rhythm - or sing - and never stutter, but always stuttered in "regular conversation".

When I was little, my mom always made sing-song rhythms to teach me counting and spelling. She started this when I was tiny. By the time I got to school I was way ahead in spelling and reading and counting (had problems with comprehension, but that's another story.). It really does work.

The best thing to do is turn the box up with your mouth on the box while the family looks on thereby causing them to stay away from the cheez-its so you end up having them all to yourself.

OMG, now I get it!

I swear to God, up until just this second, I thought you all were talking about "Revenge of the Nerds."

DUH! I apparently also need to work on reading comprehension.

Been there, done that.

And another CIC (Cheez-Its Confession). The best part is turning the box up after the crackers are gone and emptying the dregs into your mouth - almost 100 percent glorious salt.
