I've Got a Confession, I....

Featured Replies

I've got a confession.... I haven't gone to my math class in 2 weeks.

Haven't been to one of mine in atleast 3 weeks, I feel like I get dummer every time I go to the class.

And to think I wanted to be a math teacher.

I'm happy to see this thread resurrected; it's one of the better ones we have had in some time. Perhaps only eclipsed recently by my instant classic "powdered sugar or syrup on your French toast (that's Freedom toast to a few of you - you know who you are) thread.

Since we're baring our souls here, I'll go ahead and admit it. I have voted Republican on rare occasion. I just hope my parents don't ever find out.

Whew, that was cathartic.

I am deathly afraid of heights. I once drove three hours with a person I had just met from the airport to my destination, because my flight got turned around and I was too scared to get back on. We rented a car and were gone, but I really thought I'd be a headline in a newspaper the next day...

I hate having an uneven amount in my checking account. If i have 708.13 dollars, I will take out 108.13 out in cash for the week to leave it at an even 600.00.

I am convinced that if I go on a rollercoaster, it will fall off the tracks and I will probably die.

I don't use public restrooms. I will go at my house, my grandmas, or my boyfriends. Other than that, I'm holding it or poppin a squat. I am pretty sure there are diseases just waiting to be caught on toilet seats.

i'm sure i could think of more, but...it'd be a loooong post. :)

Are you my mom? I swear my mom is the same way with almost ever thing you just said:lol:. Actually I would say alot of women are that way. We as men will never understand.

I'm WAYYY too young to be your mom, but I'm glad there is someone else out there with my quirks. ha. Those ones are just brushing the surface though. I get a lot more quirky.

Another one! I play way too much Xbox and it causes me to be extremly lazy.

Speaking of fears that many mentioned in this thread, I get scared opening cans of biscuits or crescent rolls. That popping thing scares me everytime. I always have my wife or someone else do it for me.

Spiders (although, surprisingly, not Daddy Long Legs)

Clowns

The sound made when styrofoam rubs together (don't have an issue with touching it, but the thought of someone putting a lid on one of those styrofoam coolers just about sends me over the edge)

I enjoy watching the show Gilmore Girls.

I watched the show the first season, but then stopped watching. I caught a rerun on the Family Channel and have now caught up with seasons 2 through 5 and am working on season 6.

We all have things about us, that not many people or BGP members know about. It might be some secret or quirk, that we would never guess. I have several but here is one that I'll reveal....

I have a fear of crossing bridges. :sssh:

Let's here some of yours....

I bet you have a lot of fun crossing the swinging bridge over the river at Paintsville's golf course. I can see you now with eyes half closed and the sweat dripping.:D

BTW, I can handle their swinging bridge but it makes me nervous. It's hard enough to walk across one of those things much less drive a golf cart. Probably the only course in the world that utilizes a swinging bridge for that purpose. I like it though, it's very unique.

I'm not crazy about opening those things either. What I do is just jab the thing real fast with a fork or a spoon so it pops open real fast; no suspense.

I have a fear of setting a mouse trap. Got my knuckle wopped once. I'm on pins and needles while doing that chore. My girlfriend wanted me to set a few at her house a while back, and although I acted brave and made fun of her for not being able to do it, I was scared to death:eek:....but I got it done.

That is understandable; no person likes to set a mouse trap. They scare me, too.

I'm claustrophobic. I hate Styrofoam with a passion because of its sound. Bees terrify me ever since I was stung by 20 of them at once as a kid.

I am very OCD about certain things. All my money has to face the same way in my wallet with large bills in the back. When I hang shirts in my closet they have to hang facing the left. If I have a job where I set things up they have to be set up the same every time. If there are stacks of plastic/styrofoam cups they have to be the same height or as close as they can be to being the same.

I never really learned how to swim. I have an outward belly button.

Oh and I am afraid of this happening. :D
