June 19, 200818 yr Robert Redford, sometimes called Better Than Sex, pies. They are chocolate and creamy, and rich as heck. You'll for sure need a beverage with this one. My sisters make a bunch of them on all our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. They are the highlight.

Fried Apple Pies. :thumb: My mother makes everything from scratch. Warm or cold they are delicious. :thumb: That goes for any kind of pie, my mother makes the best Pecan and cherry pies I have ever eaten. You can get them at the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge. They make homemade Stack Cake there as well. The Apple Barn is top notch food...anything they have is great. I am a pie guy over a cake guy. I like cakes, but I am insane for a good homemade pie. What about you guys? :thumb: Same here.

June 19, 200818 yr It's a long drive, but the 10-inch (height, not diameter) meringue pies at Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers are pretty good. A nice dessert to follow the 2-inch pork chop. Vacationed there about 5 years ago and ate at Patti's....needed someone to carry me out the door...yummmmmmmmmmmmm!!!:thumb:

Mmmm....I cannot wait to make one of these things. They sound awesome!!!!
