He is on my top 10 all time hated list now.

You know not..

The Rays are on the phone. They want (fill in the name of any of the 3) and they're willing to give you Kazmir, Navarro, Upton, and your pick between Tim Beckham and David Price and you say "no?"

Let's be realistic here ...

That's my point. You can't have a blanket statement saying anyone is untouchable.

Bruce will be in the 3 hole for years to come. You can't lead the Team in double plays and hit 3rd.

Maybe you should get in touch with Tony LaRussa and mention that about his #3 hole hitter.

I'll go ahead and assume your talking about Pojols. When BP can average 42 HR's, 127 RBI's, 199 Hits, 90 walks, an OBP of .423, and batting average of .332 while only striking out an average of 67 times a year, then I'll get past the GIDP.

OK. So the blanket statement of GIDP is dependent upon what else he can do. I think BP has shown he has some offensive prowess so I think he fits the 3 hole well(not as well as Pujols).

Lets assume Keppinger and Hairston are back on the active roster. What's the lineup?

Off the top of my head:

Hairston

Kepp

BP/Dunn

Dunn/BP

Bruce

Votto

Griffey

Bako/Ross

We will just have to agree, to disagree.:thumb:

At least Cueto was fun to watch... :irked:

So I get a chance to go to Yankee Stadium to watch the Yanks take on the Reds. It's going to be 82 and sunny. The tickets are going to be SWEET, even though I don't know where they are yet. Everything is coming together nicely, and then I see a Homer Baily v Dan Geise matchup...:irked:

Seriously, we may need to get up to Friday's game....

No one?

No one?

Not sure at this point, but Edwin will be in there somewhere. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind a deal made before both Keppy, and Hairston are back.
