Track the Reds (Week 12)

Featured Replies

Not sure at this point, but Edwin will be in there somewhere. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind a deal made before both Keppy, and Hairston are back.

Since we can't forecast trades, lets assume the roster is static for now.

You have Edwin in instead of both Hairston and Keppinger?

I'd take Griffey out of the lineup before Edwin.

Hairston in CF, Kepp at SS , Bruce in RF, and E-5 at 3rd. I can live with that.

I just don't think you will EVER see Dusty take Griffey out of the regular lineup. Heck, I'll be excited when he removes him from the #3 spot.

I don't think you'll see Griffey out of the 3 spot anytime this year, unless he's not in the lineup. Dusty won't have the guts to move him out of it. But I also don't think you can take Edwin out of the lineup when the GM just said he was untouchable. Yes, he may be struggling a bit this season, but he is part of the future and you gotta let him figure it out at this level.

Same with Homer?

The Dodgers sent Hiroki Kuroda, originally scheduled to start Wednesday, back to Los Angeles after he told them his right shoulder was bothering him.

Lowe (4-6, 4.03 ERA) is only 2-2 despite a 2.00 ERA over his last five outings. He is 2-1 with a 3.24 ERA in three career games - two starts - against the Reds.

Bronson Arroyo (4-5, 5.31) is 1-2 with a 3.75 ERA in seven games - six starts - against the Dodgers. He didn’t fare well in the last matchup on May 19, getting reached for five runs - three earned - and nine hits in five innings while not factoring in the decision of a 6-5 road loss.

Cincinnati hopes to have Ken Griffey Jr. back in the lineup after he felt ill and didn’t play Tuesday. The right fielder is 1-for-19 in his last seven games since becoming the sixth player to reach 600 homers on June 9 at Florida.

Lance is on vacation so its pretty much a done deal something big will happen with this team. It does every year.

Same with Homer?

No.

Reasoning?

John Fay...

The Reds activated Norris Hopper from the 15-day disabled list and optioned Homer Bailey back to Triple-A Louisville.

They haven't named a starter for Satruday's game. But Daryl Thompson is a safe bet.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Reasoning?

He's 25, and he did lead the Team last year with a .289BA

Homer hasn't proven anything at the MLB level yet, other than he's not ready.

Korey....

He had no business battng last night with the sacks jammed.

Now that Hopper is up, I'd like to see him some.
