Reds have an off day tomorrow.

Apparently Jockety is ready to have a fire sale and "clean house"...

Man, I wanted this one SV..

HAHA....well the game ended like 2 hours ago and no one had started it, so I figured no one wanted too...

I just wanted to start one and try my luck, I'm done after this week.. You can have the next one..:thumb:

We will get a good indication of the thinking of the front office by seeing what they do with Homer. If they keep him in the rotation, it tells us they are playing for next season (my vote). If they send him back to Louisville they are telling us they think they still have a chance.

I think you've got to stay with Homer until Josh Fogg is ready to come back, then send Homer down. He's got a lot of work to do and there is no sense to keep running him out there if he's getting knocked around like he did today.

As much as Bailey has no clue right now, I don't know who else the Reds can put in his spot.

A pitching machine?

There is no way you can keep Bailey up right now. He's a bullpen killing machine...

A pitching machine?

Can't imagine that would be any worse than what we are getting from that spot in the rotation.

Homer's next start is scheduled for Yankee Stadium... :scared:

Would you like to see Thompson instead, or is pitching first game in Yankee stadium asking to much?

I agree. Hopefully it will happen.

We keep hearing everyone saying that Homer can't get a 2nd pitch over or he doesn't have an out pitch.

Don't we already have two young guns that have a tremendous 2nd pitch/out pitch? Don't we still have THE guy who taught these two young guns the changeup in the organization?

Why in the world do we not hook up Soto with Homer and tell Mario "let us know when you think he's ready."????

You have to take in consideration that Soto has been around Cueto and to a little lesser extent Volquez for quite a while.

Soto has spent time with Bailey. It just hasn't been as productive as his time spent with others...
