The Strangers

I want to see it because it has one of the actors from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" in it. Glenn Howerton I believe is his name.

Did you like it?

I didnt jump at all throughout this entire movie til the end when the lady screamed. This plot of the story made no sense at all though because I still dont understand why they killed the people for no reason.

That's true. I missed the first 5 minutes so I figured it explained it a bit there. No clue why they killed the people.

That is what makes it so messed up. They did it for no reason. At the end Liz Taylor asks "why are you doing this to us?" One of the girls replys "Because you were home..." :creepy:

I watched this movie and thought it was a really good scary movie. Not that big into scary movies. But it will have u jumping out of your seats in some parts.

I saw this today and I liked it a lot. It's not gory and it's something that's actually believable.

It had a few "shock" moments (people jumping out at you), but for me, the scariest part was the fact that it was so realistic. It could happen to any of us in real life, which is scary.

I didnt see it. I said "I want to see it".

I thought it was a really good horror movie. They are so hard to find. I thought the key was that the suspense was really good. Definitely had some Carpenter-esque moments with the masks fading in and out of the darkness. Probably the scariest thing about this movie is that it was very realistic. The music was old records played on a record player that I thought was an excellent touch. I did have some questions and comments about the pacing. The movie was only about 80 minutes long. There was some story that set up the relationship that was only showed as flashbacks from the previous evening. I think they should have lengthened the movie about 15 minutes or so by telling more of the main characters storyline. I am also glad that the chase scenes didn't go on for too long. It seems to kill a bunch of horror movies but it was kind of limited here.

If you like horror/suspence movies you should like this one.

I just now watched it cause the guy across the hall bought it. I honestly think it was awful and was glad it was only an hour and fifteen minutes long because I felt like I wasted every one of those minutes. Maybe jumpy I guess...but it was pointless.

We rented it for Halloween. I liked it. Made me jump a few times which is not always easy.

Horror movies have been terrible over the last few years and The Strangers was no exception.

It was HORRIBLE. By far one of the worst horror movies I've seen in a while. There was no story and it jumped into the thick of things way too quick. It was very uneventful. The ending was just terrible. They left it open like there could be a 2nd movie, I hope there isn't.

I'm just glad it was short.

We watched it Halloween night and I'm not sure how he felt about it, but I thought it was a let down. Some parts made me jump but overall it was just kind of lame. The ending was like ????

It was based on actual events and this made me scream thru the entire thing!!!!!!!!

I actually thought it wasn't bad. There were several parts that had me wondering such as the ending but overall didn't think it was as bad as a lot on here think.

I'd add a little more plot and tell us about the main characters though and what happened that made them end up out there. From the ending you'd think there's going to be a second movie and maybe that's why they had it end that way but with Hollywood you never know. I also thought at the end where they all took off their masks but didn't show their faces might have something to do with a second movie.

One thing I did like was it's based on true events. Definetly had the person I watched it with scared throughout.

If they wasn't at home, they wouldn'y have been in terror.

I'm a horror movie nut, and like this one but it was sad.

Director said it was a "terror movie".
