, she has put up with me for over 22 years so that alone more than qualifies her as a saint. lol.

22 years? Man I'm old. I don't need to tell you on here how much you guys mean to me personally. We are praying for Mrs. OldRambler and for you. I am very sorry to hear of the problems. I did not notice this thread until this morning so I will be pulling double duty on the prayer tree. I pray and wish only the best for this family.

I just got back from the hospital and have talked to all of Mrs. OR's doctors I believe, at least the main ones. She is having a pretty good day today, is much better on her breathing excercise and her strentgh in breathing. She still is taking short breaths though. While I was there from this morning, she had already been up and walked a little once and did so three more times while I was there with the last two being....."I want to go and come back by myself w/o anyone with me" and she did just that, returned and get back in bed w/o assistance. Also, they started her on solid food today, she was really glad for that after nothing but liquid and jello for 3 days. Mrs. OR was pretty tired when I left and was going to get some sleep.

Her doctor (surgeon) said that he had a couple of more things to go over,check and would be back in the morning but she may just be able to go home as early as tommorrow evening or Wednesday. He told her that he was really pleased with her progress and frankly wasn't expecting to see her doing this well after he saw her the day of and day after the surgery. Needless to say that gave us a huge sigh of relief.

 

Keep the prayers coming for Mrs. OR and as always, thank you to everyone for all of your support.

Oldrambler - I just had the pleasure of meeting Ram for lunch this afternoon. He was telling me what great people you and the Mrs. both are. I hope she's back in good health real soon.
