OH my...I bet it was real scary. Thank God that they found it and was able to repair. Now, PH and I will be praying for a speedy recovery and throw in a few more prayers as well!

Poor guy, I know he must have been so worried. It is really hard to see someone you love go through something like this and not be able to do anything to help. It is really hard.

My thoughts are you you and your family .

First of all I want to extend my thanks to each and everyone of you that have posted. I told my wife about it and can't wait to show her all the post and well wishes when she gets home.

Mrs. OR is still droggy and in and out of sleep. She has been through quite an ordeal to say the least. She is not out of the woods just yet but things are a world of better than they were this morning. I hope to get to talk with the doctor/doctor's again tommorrow and I will try to post updates as I can and/or contact someone to post them if I am going to be away from the computer. I also want to thank all for your well wishes and prayers for my condition but this prayer request thread is for Mrs. OR, she may be my wife but you just don't have to take my word for it, Mrs. OR I am convinced is an angel on earth. I don't mean to go on or to sound that way but I know that I am blessed to have her in my life and I must say for a short while this morning I wasn't sure if I would any longer.

All of your prayers are appreciated and as we all have said, this is what makes BGP family. A special thanks to my "Raceland Ram" family on here.....cvillecat, incognito amoung others we have been close for years and always will be.

Well, I have "Rambled" on for too long and thanks again and please keep your prayers going for Mrs. OR.

Doc you are one like cvillecat in that I can always count on you to lighten the mood at just the right time when I need it.

 

As for your claim of the "orange" blood.....that would be correct. Mrs. Rambler is a Russell grad but she and I are very happy to report that the disgusting "marroon and gold" Red Devil was exorsized from her body when I married the lady a little over 22 years ago.thumb: She is now on the straight and narrow in RamLand.

OR...I know how scared you must have been...and I am sure, still are. Just remember, God is not done with her yet, therefore, she has many more years with HER angel on earth!

OR, you and your wife have my support and prayers. Oddly enough, I know a lot about the sitution of bowel perforation. As some of you will recall, one of our football players, David Bird, suffered a freak injury in practice one evening and, after an extremely painful night, was diagnosed with a perforation somewhere just below the stomach. He underwent emergency surgery about 16 hour after the actual injury.
