I look at the 3 teams that are leading there respective divisions in the NL and see no one leading the league in HRS, or RBIs on those teams. You don't think Hamilton is better than Dunn. No one cried when he left. Also you act like no one will be in LF if Dunn leaves. I'm going to guess they will go ahead and still field a left fielder.

You just made my point. Do you know that Jay Bruce can't put up impressive numbers. Do you positively know there is no one that can't put up those numbers. And what about the teams that have success without having a 40/100/100 guy. How can that be? If the Reds need him to be a .450 team then how can any one even think about winning ( gasp ) without him. I'm going to end this by telling you that Adam Dunn will not lead this team to success. If and when they have a championship team , he will not be a part of it. And believe it or not they may not even have a 40/100/100 guy. I know this is a really hard concept for you guys to grasp. So I understand if you don't believe this.

Dunn has a higher

range factor in LF than the average NL LFer does. "RFg" represents

the range factor for Dunn. "lgRFg" represents the average LFer.

That's telling us that Dunn makes more plays than the average LFer. :sssh:

Maybe its time for you to stop finding stats that help him look great, and realize there is a reason texas wanted Hamilton, and there is a reason we haven't produced wins. I am obviously not saying he is the whole problem because that is not true. But he needs to go. His chance is over. The leader of your team cannot be seen as someone that doesn't hustle or even want to be in his position.;)

Again, the Rangers wanted Hamilton because he's five years away from free agency, a lot cheaper and can play centerfield.

You mean like the one he threw from the wall to nail Cleveland's Ryan Garko at 2nd base last week leading off the 8th inning? Let me let you in on a little secret. Dunn is 6'5 and weighs 275 lbs. He moves pretty darn good for a man his size, but he's no speed demon. To say he doesn't hustle though is not a true statement.

Having just read this entire thread, I am in total agreement with LRCW. I hope the Reds find a way to keep Dunn. His numbers are right up there with alot of power hitters. He's not the reason why the Reds have failed to make the post season. When is the last time the Reds had a decent pitching staff?
