April 29, 200818 yr Cueto is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in his last three starts. He gave up five runs in seven innings and struck out only two in losing 5-3 to Houston on Thursday. St. Louis has received great starting pitching in April despite heading into the season with a rotation consisting of mostly journeymen starters. Joel Pineiro (1-2, 5.29) certainly fit that bill coming out of spring training and his first start was disastrous, as he allowed six runs in just 3 2-3 innings in a 7-4 loss to San Francisco on April 13. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview?gid=280429124

April 29, 200818 yr I saw the last couple of innings. I did see E-5's run saving diving stop, and the catch for the last out. The "Cowboy" did get a little over excited, comparing Edwin to Brooks Robinson and Mike Schmidt. Nice to see a 1st game win for the Reds. Hopefully they go to the next step and break out the brooms.:banana:

April 29, 200818 yr Mike Schmidt's numbers through his first 4 years. He played different spots in the infield his first couple years before moving over to third base full time his 3rd year. All told he committed SEVENTY errors those first four years. Here are his offensive stats. E5 has committed 59 errors, including the ones so far this year and we still have a good chunk of the season to go.
