Track the Reds (Week 5)

In his defense he made a really good diving play.

That he did but the runner doesn't get called out for the dive. He had time to hop up and use good form but he rushed.

Quality start for BA. Thats about all you can ask for. Good to see him bounce back.

Phillips needs to be able to avoid a batted ball. No excuse for that. He just cost his team a run and an out.

Bases loaded (BPhil on first) and Dunn hits a ball that was heading for the infield gap and Phillips never looked at the ball and took it off the leg. If he looks at the ball he can easily avoid it. Instead runners stay on their bases, Phillips is out, and Dunn gets first.

I wouldnt say easily avoid, that ball was a shot he took two steps and was pegged in the leg.

I read on espn that David Ross was put back on the DL . I may be wrong though.

If he is looking at the ball he doesnt take that second step or he jumps. He could have easily avoided it.

I don't think he was able to see the ball, it was hit that hard, if it helps my case any, the cowboy and george agree with me.

Edwin saves the reds a run. What a play 4-3 good guys top of 8.

He wasn't looking is the problem. And I think that hurts your case, maybe even destroys your case.

Very True, but as far as the play, I guess we agree to disagree.
