April 30, 200818 yr No offense to you but these are Major League players. They should be able to get out of the way of a batted ball. It happens from time to time. Sometimes you just don't have time. Shouldn't they have time to get out of the way of a pitched ball also?
April 30, 200818 yr If you look on there he is going 6+7 innings. That does a lot for your pitching by being able to eat innings.
April 30, 200818 yr It happens from time to time. Sometimes you just don't have time. Shouldn't they have time to get out of the way of a pitched ball also? All I can say to that is touche. But I guess I don't really have a problem with him getting hit, it's the fact he didn't really even look at it to make an attempt.
April 30, 200818 yr Pujols has left 9 runners on base tonight. He stinks. I'm sure the Reds would be happy to send them Patterson, Freel and Hatteberg for him. That's a fair trade.
April 30, 200818 yr That was the most pathetic display of base running I've ever seen including Little League. When you look back at this season, you will recall this team as the worst baserunning team in Cincy in a while. It just seems to follow Dusty around.
April 30, 200818 yr When you look back at this season, you will recall this team as the worst baserunning team in Cincy in a while. It just seems to follow Dusty around. Maybe it's just Patterson.
April 30, 200818 yr Did the Cowboy just go on record saying that the Reds will win the Central Division this season? Who's with him? This is just not a very well put together team--the pieces are greater than the sum.
April 30, 200818 yr Maybe it's just Patterson. Could be. He may be the worst "fast" runner I've ever seen.
April 30, 200818 yr Could be. He may be the worst "fast" runner I've ever seen. You don't watch Freel much...
April 30, 200818 yr On a positive note the Reds bullpen has pitched 6 1/3 of shutout baseball. That is a very positive note. I am excited about the way our bullpen looking (at least I am now that Coffey is gone).v:lol: Anyways, 7-2 final, bad guys win. Dunn hit a 2 out HR in the top of the 9th to break the shutout.
April 30, 200818 yr Looper (3-1, 4.05 ERA) was inconsistent in his first full year in the rotation in 2007, but he went 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA and limited Reds hitters to a .146 average in two starts against Cincinnati. The Cardinals will be facing Reds veteran starter Aaron Harang (1-3, 2.76 ERA), who has gotten just one run to work with over his last two games. He has allowed two earned runs or less in five of his six outings. The right-hander gave up three runs while striking out eight in 7 1-3 innings as Cincinnati lost 3-1 to San Francisco on Friday night. Harang went 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA in three starts versus the Cardinals last season, and is 5-6 with a 4.46 ERA in 14 career starts. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview?gid=280430124

Well at least Dunn got back the two runs he gave them on his backwards throw from the outfield. He looked like a girl trying to throw the ball.
