The Bats play a doubleheader so both games are only 7 innings. 6 1/3, 5 hits, 2 ER, 4 Ks, 1 BB. 81 pitches, 54 strikes. The Bats lead 3-2 as Bill Bray comes in to try and save the game. I would not be against calling up Bailey to the Bullpen. Long relief, and a good change up for the batters seeing his fast ball after maybe the fastball of Arroyo or Fogg.

If he's ready, not saying he is or isn't, I think they would find a way to get rid of Fogg, they won't bring him out of the bull pen.

Don't forget the .247 batting average and the 1102 K's ( nearly theleague leader every year). Which is about one per 4 at bats. Not to mention being one of the worse fielders in the league. Dunn is what he is... I just don't think he is a 15 million dollar player.

One in every three at bats is more accurate. Dunn is an odd player, he has HOF power numbers, and nothing else to go with it. Hopefully, he will break out of the slump tonight. The Reds need him badly. He usually gets hot in Chi-town, hopefully he will tonight.

I haven't seen any minor league reports on Bailey this season but my concern or question would be that Homer needs to throw the ball over the plate. I don't care how good of stuff he has, if he can't get it over the plate and place it then it isn't going to work. I know that it is early and I hope they come out of it but this Reds team is starting to remind me of the Reds teams of the last few years and that is not a good memory. Someone needs to post something in the clubhouse to the effect of "Base Hits With Runners On Base Are Legal".

He has a plus speed fastball but when it is straight as an arrow it is easy to hit for major league batters. The Reds AVG w/ RISP concerns me more than anything. If you can't get runners in you are not going to win very many games.

He said that there is no data that says that a .300 hitter will hit higher or lower w/ guys on. I'm giving them a while and saying that they'll start hitting w/ guys on.
