I think that it should be called at any point of the game and I would say the same thing if that had been Joe Crawford. :thumb:

I thought it should be a T the second I saw him do it. I also thought that they acted a lot like a team out of Knoxville does on a lot of occasions. Both are athletic and both are, being conservative here, somewhat out of self control on many occasions during games.

I can't remember seeing a player do that and the referees notice it and not call a technical. I've always felt the game should be called the same from beginning to end. If it would have been a technical in the first half, it should have been one then, too.

Mad at self or not, that's a tech.

While it was an extremely boneheaded move, the refs made the right no-call. I'm not saying it shouldn't have been a tech, but the no-call was the right move.

I'm still shocked Hightower didn't call it and make him mark...

I saw Fogler get one at Rupp when he was coaching SC for slamming the ball after a call. I can't agree on the NO Call.

You don't make that call at that point in the game. Instead of it being a topic on every talk show the day after the game, it has basically been forgotten about, and thats how it should be. Great great no call.

I think without question that he should've been. That is a black and white rule of the game. It is not a swallow the whistle moment, which I tend to agree with. You are not allowed to "spike" the ball above your head, he did so. It 100% should've been a "T".

If it is a technical during the regular season then it should be a technical in the Championship game. As far as I know the rules are always the same regardless of the importance of the game.

It didn't just go above his head - it went like 30' in the air. Definately a techincal, no question. I agree 100%:thumb:
