You would think they could with the 3 Feeder Middle schools they have in that County. I think it is awful fishy that Jackson is leaving RH the same time Euton does. I know Euton had a legitimate reason with the job loss of his father but I'm hardly sold on Jackson's reason for leaving other than he wants to continue to play ball with Dakotah.

 

FYI 7th grade team at SCMS (1 of 3 middle schools in Scott) did win the 7th Grade KBA State Championship....the future looks bright....better get some shades :jump:

First, some of the relationship with the Scott Co program for these families would be that Jackson and Euton have played on the same AAU team in the summer as Guyn, and apparently have become pretty tight in that matter. Maybe the Guyn's have encouraged them to come there, but I can assure there is no improprieties on the part of the coaching staff and the program.

 

There doesnt have to be a reason for a move as long as there is a change in residence. If there were some recruiting going on then something could be made of it, but a move by a family simply to better themselves and their children's futures is completely up to them and requires no explanation.

Also, neither Jackson nor Euton have enrolled in Scott Co., nor are in class there as of yesterday. A family can't really just pick up and go, that is just silly. They must find a home and move their things there, and that cant be done overnight. Case closed....for now...

Going to be several existing players in the Scott County program that are not too happy. Many of these kids did work hard in middle school and come up through the ranks. Now 3 star players just happen to transfer to Scott within a year! 3 starters at that, and all D1 prospects. I have already heard about several possible transfers OUT of Scott County due to being unhappy with what is going on there.

 

I have heard within the last few days that the KHSAA is looking into what is going on at Scott County. But the KHSAA will rule them eligible just like Gelawn. We all know they transferred to Scott County because of the basketball program. But just because the KHSAA rules them eligible does not mean it is ethical does it?

 

Regardless Scott County will be pre-season #1 next year.

Such as? I know of an incoming freshman that is likely going elsewhere, but there really arent a lot of major impact guys left on the roster that I could see transferring. Not to mention, as I said, Jackson is not there right now.

I have seen in other posts your displeasure in Scott County getting transfers.

I just want to know if you would have made this big a fuss if Euton and Jackson had transfered to Lexington Christian or Catholic. Scott County has gotten several transfers in the last two years, however before that the last one to my best memory was Scott Hundley. Schools get transfers every year, why are you so mad at Scott Co.

 

I'd guarentee there'd be 200 posts on here condeming their transfers to either of these schools, or any other private school for that matter!! The only reason this isn't front page news is its a transfer from a private school with some past "issues", to a so-called "public school", or are they changing the name to " TMC Academy"?
