Why do you sterotype because of a few bad experiences. Do you know how many Bengals fans there are around here? I've seen some Bengals fans act inappropriate to opposing fans... I've also seen opposing fans act inappropriate to Bengals fans.

I would consider it a stereotype if it just happened to me and I said this. But everyone I talk to that goes to a Bengals game has the same experience.

 

I'm not saying all Bengals fans are idiots. I just said a few posts earlier that I met some very nice ones at the game I went to. But I met more idiots than I did nice fans.

I got tired of dealing with Bengals fans, so now pops and I just make the 5 hour drive to watch our boys play at Heinz Field :thumb:.

There can be a big problem if you have season tickets by people who are always drunk with season tickets. We have season tickets and it can be a problem. Fortunately our kids are old enough now, that they "get it."

There is a family section - no beer served. No smoking - period - I thought everyone would be happy now.

I didn't really talk to the jerks who were harassing us. They just cursed and flipped us off and got in my face.

This is one of the dumbest arguments I've seen on BGP. How many fans go to Pro games? If people don't think there are good fans and bad fans at every game then you are kidding yourself. I'll be the first to say that there are a lot of out of control Bengals fans. To try to act like 50,000 drunk Yankees are pleasent to be around is flat out crazy:lol: Let some Cowboy or Redskin fan roll in there with a jersey on then let me know how that guy was treated:lol:

I'll buy some places are more laid back than others but NY is a tough sell. Yankees sober are a pain, 50,000 drunk with an opposing jersey coming into their turf.....

I've talked to more than a few Eagles fans and Cowboys fans on message boards who have had no problems at Giants stadium.

I've been to a good number of Bengal games. I've never seen any problem with the fans. I'd venture to say that their fans are no worse than any other teams in the NFL.

I like you a lot but your biase toward NY is as bad as I've seen for anybody and their team. 50,000 New Yorkers sober are bad enough. Now get them drunk and walk in with a rivals jersey on. That's fine if you feel that way. I don't!

I've had the opportunity (through my job) to visit stadiums around the country and meet many thousands of fans. It's true that there are good fans and bad fans everywhere. But I have to say, NY fans, and especially NY Giants fans, are by a very long shot, the worst of all for bad behavior. It's not even a contest. You would not believe the things I've seen up there. Philadelphia fans aren't much better. So far, I haven't had a bad experience at a Bengals game.
