It would be no laughing matter if something horrible happened, BUT since everything ended up okay, we can joke about it.

 

I can't be the only one who sees a video like this and remembers that scene in Airplane when she says:

 

"Okay everyone, get in crash position!!"

Always amazes me these days that there are so many cameras out there waiting to film something.

 

Two thumbs up to the pilots. Hope our Airlines remember such skill the next time they want to make the pilots take a pay cut.

Pilots are trained how to land in cross winds, however it is still very dangerous.

 

Test pilots for Boeing often test their aircraft at a military airport in Brazil. This airport is known for its constant monumental crosswinds.

Are you sure it was a 150 MPH crosswind? That is strong category 4 hurricane winds and near a category 5. :confused:

I deal with things through laughter, now in this situation everyone made it through okay and there were no serious injuries, that we know of.

 

Basically I was just saying when I saw the video, I had a flashback to the Airplane movie. That's all. :thumb:

Saw this on the weather channel. I could've done without having seen it. I have a horrible fear of flying, I guess because I'm not in controll. But yeh I'm flying to Chicago, then to Puerto Vallarta, luckily the forecast looks good.

I wouldn't doubt that half the passengers on that plane will never get on another one again.
