They do not greet you, and 99% of the time, the high school/college girl looks upset she has to get off her stool while texting, to key you in. Nice gym, terrible staff.
February 24, 200818 yr I enjoy NKU, because it's convenient and I'm there, also work out at work occasionally and have a gym at work as well. It's all about convenience unless you're dedicated. I am so ya know it's whatever.

Is this the new Florence location you speak of? Trust me if I saw that kind of service I would let management know. They dont need a bad rep with the opening of new fitness centers.

I only went there for a few weeks with a buddy to spot him but I would say of the 10 times I went, 9 times did the incident occur I speak of. I would give their staff a -1 on a scale of 1/10. And I am NOT exaggerating. Given they have to get off their stool every 10 mins to key someone in and take a break from texting or watching the music video's they could at least acknowledge the member and say a simple "hi."
February 25, 200818 yr If you are a NKU alumni they have a great deal for joining their gym. You cant beat the price. I used to belong but stopped because it was just a little too out of the way for me and I didnt use it as much. We currently belong to Better Bodies. It is very close to my home. As noted above, it is clean with nice staff. They also recently updated a lot of the equipment. Plenty of TV's to make the exercise go by quickly. It does get busy from about 4-6 when the "after work and before dinner crowd" come in, but I rarely have a problem getting on the machines I like. However if anyone from BB is reading this.........WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO UPDATE THOSE ELIPTICAL MACHINES? They are my favorite but break down a lot. Those are probably the only machines who have not been updated in the last couple of years.

I understand your complaint. I had to visit a store this weekend and the cashier didn't say hi, bye, how are you or anything. Nice customer service. The person in front of me was doing the eye roll.

All of their gyms are this way...They have a great facility but lack in the customer curtesy department...But I dont care becuase I usually dont talk to them either.
February 25, 200818 yr I belong to Silverlake in Erlanger and the customer service to me is great. I go at 5 a.m. M thru Thur and they treat you very good. I go on Sat and Sun in the A.M. and again I have never been treated bad. Facility is nice and alot of new changes going on. JD
February 25, 200818 yr Me too, can't beat it for 24 bucks a month. Especially when there it is always dead.. I go there also. The only crappy thing is that it costs money to have the kids go to the nursery, and they have very limited weekend hours. I used to go to Silverlake and the nursery was built into the monthly price.

February 26, 200818 yr I go to Fitworks in Newport. Have been a member there for almost 7 years now. I like it, they have all the machines I need and everybody is nice. Although lately it has started to get crowded, Im still waiting on most of them to break their New Years resolutions and quit showing up.

Yeah, i'v been a memeber there for three years and never had a complaint. I will say January and Feb do sometimes get on my nerves because of all the New Years resolution newbies but that dies back down in March.
February 26, 200818 yr What about racquetball? Do this gyms have racquetball facilities? I know a lot don't or charge extra.
