iak00
He has been sick for a few days now. And yes, I think that Fleming started all Sophomores and Freshmen. Tough way to see Chris and Nick to go out at home. He told me (Owens) that he had viral or the flu. Can't remember now though. Owens was 4 off from 2000 points for his career. Very nice ball player and a very nice person. Him and Anderson was face-gaurded the whole game. Hopefully he acheives that goal against Mason. Anyone have any stats for this game? Or did anyone watch it?
KY Buckeye
Just out of memory (and could be wrong)... Owens 23, 11 rebounds Mason 14, 16 boards Anderson 9 Newsom 22, 12 boards Dugan 10 Gray
KY Buckeye
Also worth noting was that Fleming was atrocious from the line, but SP couldn't take advantage, being somewhere around 30 percent from the field for the game and worse for the 4th quarter. All In
The wheels have come off for the Saints and Coach Hinson. Unless Coach O' Hearn takes things easy, things could get ugly next week at Bracken County. Very dissapointing last few weeks and bad way to end the season for the Saints. SkipToMyLou
Tough loss for Coach Hinson and his Saint. Hopefully they can rebound and have a good showing against the Royals.
mhighfield
I guess this cancels the theroy a lot were saying earlier in the year when Fleming beat the Saints that the saints got hosed by the ref there huh.Congrats Panthers.
Saints 1997
Now about the ref thing...the 10th region was booked last night so we had to get two 16th region refs...one of which was from Fleming co. but in all honesty he was the better of the two. There was no homecourt advantage last night at all, but the saints blew a great first quarter. Fleming tightened up the defense on Anderson and Owens and Newsom dominated inside. Brother of a Saint
The 10th regions refs were all calling, therfore St. Patrick ask Fleming County to get two 16th Region officals. The refs in the 10th also call in the 11th so they were booked. Refs are refs players play the game Fleming just wanted it more then St. Pat. iak00
Fleming was in Ownes and Anderson the whole night. But I also give them credit by still hitting stuff shots. SP wasn't hitting 3's very good good either as I recall.
