Not exactly a tiny school, but certainly smaller than Mason. EC seems to have a nice team, and in the upper echelon of a very weak region. Given their performance against the few quality teams they've played, I can't see them as a top 20 team in the state?? Maybe next year, because it sounds like they don't lose very much.

 

For the record from another post, CovCath has around 500-550 boys last I heard.

His ballhandling skills looked fine to me. I saw on an internet site where he averages 1 TO per game, so they are not to bad. In the few time's I have watched him not sure I have saw him shoot better than 6-13 from three. That is smokin'.

I would probably shoot a lot better without a 6'7'' D-1 signee in my face, too. If he's D-1, he might as well get used to it.

I agree, but I think he proved tonight he can get the job done even with the 6'7" D-1 signee in his face.

He doesnt handle it that much. The Faulkners do all that.

There is not an over abundance of 6'7" 2 guards even at the major D-1 schools.

I apologize for incorrect info. I was kind of exaggerating (sp). But oh well. Hope this helps.

St. Xavier (Louisville)-1436 (all boys)

Elliott Co.- 337

Mason Co.- 839

Mason County just had too much for Elliott to handle tonight, and probably any other night. Superb effort by both teams and the best team won tonight. Miller, Setty, and Middleton showed they were among the tops in the state, in their respective roles. Before I get hammered, notice I didn't say they were 1,2,3 in the state although Miller is among the top 3, if not tops. Ferguson for Elliott stroked the 3, as he usually does. Probably the biggest crowd I've seen in a regular season game.
