I don't think you got the point I was making. What I said was that 11 teams in the top 20 are in 3 regions and only 3 of these teams will make it to the state tournament. I never mentioned anything about Mason Co because they're not in those regions. Mason ,as you know is no. 1 in the state. When your in those regions ,you're going to lose a few games because of the competition of playing one another. :ylsuper:

I've seen Mason play a couple of times, they were good last year, and look

maybe a little better this year with Setty being even more of a threat, Elliot County is also better than a year ago, but their weakness is the middle, need some turnovers and the 3's to fall to beat a good team.I have Mason County as the #2 team in the state behind Lex Cath. If there is a rematch, I think

Lex Cath will win it. Unfortunately, it is probally easier to win the state tournament than the 11th region this year.

I don't think this is actually accurate. I watched to see when the MC starters would be taken out because of all the talk about this situation concerning EC. Mason had at least 4 starters if not all 5 on the floor in the 4th when the subs were sent to the scorers table at 2:34! Due to play not stopping it was about 1:26 or so when they left the floor!

Well it's about time that Elliot knows what it feels like to do that to other teams. I'm not saying it's right, but Mason had something to prove, and they did. Both teams had starters in, and Elliot still didn't take anyone out when Mason first substituted. I wouldn't really make a big deal out of it from this game.

They are a private school that you must pay to attend. Four schools in that county. Ashland Blazer- Boyd Co. Fairview , and Rose Hill Christian. That would be in a county not much bigger than Mason Co. So don't divide your school into four !!:creepy:

We were talking about who had beat them from the teams mentioned earlier. But BTW Scott County lost to Rice as well.

Ferguson only scored two points(2 freethrows) after they went out. He scored 25pts while Miller was in the game. Of the 6 three's he hit Miller was in his face on four of them, Setty on one, and Miller pushed Middleton out on him on the other one. How can you get that he was dominated when he scored 27pts, was 6-13 from the three, and scored 25 of the 27 while Miller was in the game.

Miller's team won by 29 points, that's domination. It is a team sport still. If a kid scores 15 points and leads his team to a win over a top 10 team is that not better than getting 27 points in a 29 point loss?

 

I would let a player have 40 points every game if my team wins by 30 points. Curious question, would the outcome be different if the other Elliott County players would have been more involved?

No, Mason County dominated this game. Darius Miller dominated the game with the help of his teammates. Hopefully they will see them again to beat the again.

Regardless of if he had 10, 27 or 50 points, his team still lost. Being up by that many points as Mason County was in the 2nd half can be hard sometimes, because you lose focus, that's when Elliot made their little run to cut it to 14 or so, but Mason County just dominated and played great. Miller was in and out in the 3rd and 4th because of fouls. I really don't see why it matters or not. I'm sure that Ferguson would want a win, and not those 27 points in a bad loss.

That wasn't the point and you guys know it. PPalace said Miller dominated Ferguson

and others said he got most of his points after Miller was out. Both statement's were untrue. They have now been straightened out and told truthfully. Would Ferguson trade his 27 for the win YES!! Any player that cares would. If you don't want to hear the truth, don't post false information. Miller and Ferg talked(nicely) through the whole game. Ask Miller if he think's he dominated him. They are better men than most because they were complimenting one another on each other's outstanding play.

I was just thinking there are 4 high schools in a 15 mile radius and if you put all those kids together you would have a pretty good bball team. And I don't know how far Mason kids come to high school but if you divide them up they probably would not be as good. I'm not from any of those schools so there was no hidden message in there.
