Bryan Station, Scott Co, Eastern, Jeffersontown, Ballard, Male, Desales, Dunbar, Manual and Pleasure R Park are all in the top 20 and they are in three regions plus there are numerous other teams in these three regions that could and maybe should be rated up there. Only three of these teams are going to be there. It's been this way for years and will continue to be this way. I don't like classes in basketball .I have a friend who lives in Ohio and he invited me to go with him several years to the Ohio State Tournament. They played different classes in the same session. It was confusing and I didn't like it. I love the Ky State Tournament but what I said was a lot of the best teams aren't in the tournament so that makes for a bad first round. :ylsuper:

What if 2 teams came out of each region? There would be twice as many "bad" teams, but twice as many "good" teams also. Or maybe just give the 6th, 7th, and the 11th 2 teams.......:lol:

Sorry I missed that, Lex Cath is rated no. 4 in the state. Dunbar is 16th. I don't think there's a solution to this but it 's a shame a lot of good kids don't get exposure of playing in the tournament.

When you shoot as well as Ferguson does, and can get open as well as he does you should take a lot of shot's. I know what you are insinuating and he is not that type of player. He averages three assist per game. Someone has to score regardless of who it is. Should get the fact's before you post. He had 1/3 of his team's shot's. According to radio he shot 46% from three and

42% overall. I don't know about you but I definately would want him shooting a lot if he were on my team. Not only that If you are forcing a lot(every player forces some) of shot's you will not shoot those kind of %'s. Have a nice day!

Half or more of Ferguson's shot's are off dribble penetration, so it would be easier for him to turn it over if he shot it every time. He averages hardly any turnover's though because he has excellent handle's:thumb:

Guys! I know its a dream for kids to play Division I but you know there is nothing wrong playing DII, DIII, or NAIA. You take Georgetown's Men's program or Campbellsville University, they are mostly all DI transfers and are playing NAIA. National recognition, tv exposure, newspaper, and getting an education upon that. I know they may not all graduate but talking to so many people that has played at both levels, bottom line is that everybody is different and it takes different people to make a world. A lot of people don't know about Division II. Hey, Virginia Union, Virginia State, Bowie State, Livingstone, etc.... Guys these teams in Division II produce great NBA players, and a lot of people around here doesn't know that. Division II produces lots of NBA players, big time! Just because someone is DI doesn't give the inclusive and trademark that its a better situation for a kid. But just remember, if you live right, pray everyday, and do the right thing, the good guy up above will take care of you and will put you where he wants you to be anyway. :thumb:

Mason is a great team well due their credits ! But those teams above have not all meet Mason Co. Some have lost 9 or 10 games, so who knows. Has Mason Co. lost to any of those teams ? If they play classes or Sweet 16 ,it's for sure that half the teams playing win . And they all can't go !

It's easy for fans of Mason to laugh off Elliott and not take them serious..People on here love nothing more than to slam Elliott..My statement is, Remove 3 out of every 4 players from Mason's team (as per enrollment numbers) And see how they stack up with teams across the state. Is Elliott a premier team in the state?? No.. Are they a team that for their enrollment size is doing things extraordinary?? Absolutlely!

 

What was Rose Hill's enrollment when they beat Elliott Co? :sssh:
