Both UL men's and women's team will be ranked to open the season next year and the women have one of the top 4 players in the country. How often do you see a D-1 team play at a D-2 school?

Class move by the Cards. Perhaps UofL will be willing to do 4 for 1 deals with Murray, WKU, Morehead, etc.

February 15, 200818 yr Maybe something is up with them and the OVC? The OVC is losing Samford next season putting them at 10 members. You need 12 for divisions so the rumor is that the league is adding 2 teams (ETSU, Belmont, or Lipscomb) to give them 12. In 2011-12 Jacksonville State will probably move to I-A and that will give the OVC room for a 12th member (NKU). You could have North/South divisions North NKU EKU Murray Morehead Eastern Illinois SEMO South Austin Peay Tenn. St. Tenn Tech UT-Martin Belmont ETSU (Lipscomb) With Samford leaving, expansion has gone to the back burner ... a 10-team league schedule is much more manageable than one for 11 teams. I don't see Jacksonville State going up to I-A in the immediate future, although I could be wrong. Northern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Lipscomb and Belmont joining the OVC ... that would require a major change in philosophy from the OVC, which requires its members to field football programs.
