February 15, 200818 yr With Samford leaving, expansion has gone to the back burner ... a 10-team league schedule is much more manageable than one for 11 teams. I don't see Jacksonville State going up to I-A in the immediate future, although I could be wrong. Northern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Lipscomb and Belmont joining the OVC ... that would require a major change in philosophy from the OVC, which requires its members to field football programs. The OVC no longer requires new members to have football. It's good b/c it will help other sports. Morehead is in the PFL in football and the OVC has talked with ETSU and Belmont.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to miss. :thumb: Just take 71 up to the merge with 75. Turn on to 275 east. Turn on to 471 south and ride it until it ends at NKU's doorstep.

They'll pack the place, maybe even close to capacity with fans from all across the state, not just NKY. It'll show off the facilities, and get people aware of what NKU has to offer and how it's growing. People that go around the campus will also be able to see the brand new student center that'll be finishing up about the same time. Great call, the only better game they could've tried for would've been UK IMO.
