February 14, 200818 yr In the Enquirer today it states that NKU President to make Major Announcement tonite at half time of mens basketball game. Does any one out there have any idea or is NKU moving up to another Division of Basketball? JD
February 14, 200818 yr They are moving up. Why not. Everyone else is playing Division I basketball now. Welcome to DI, NKU. Enjoy a few years as an independent and then your move to a conference no one has heard of. Oh, and the checks from big schools for you butt-whippings will come in handy.

They have a 10,000 seat palace of an arena and a good history of winning. IMO the fourth-largest university in Ky. needs to be D-I.
February 14, 200818 yr This will also increase enrollment. Don't ask me how, but in time, it will. They can't fit everyone now.
