I grew up by Dixie, and I wondered at times why we were off school when the lot and sidewalks were always clear. Now I completely understand.

Are you south of SK in Independence?

The news ticker reports that the Creation Museum will be on a 1 hour delay....

...but that there is no indisputable proof that the delay isn't really more like three minutes.

Earlier it was reported that Grant County was closed, then it was also showing Grant County Schools as being closed. So I guess if you pass through or live in Grant County there won't be much happening.

And how is that different from the other 364 days?:flame:

Good point.

Nothing here but clouds and cold. Another storm line slightly to the north of my area.

So all the schools are closed but the Creation Museum is still open. So all those kids that can't get to school should be able to get to the Creation Museum.:lol:

Roads in Ft. Thomas were fine at 5AM. Then you get on the expressway and what a mess. No way a plow or salt truck had been on 471 at all! 275 had one lane and middle lane was slushy all the way to Mineola. Snow removal in NKY is not very efficient.

Go about 20 miles south of NKY and snow removal is non existant. Nothing moving here in Pendleton Co.

471 North wasn't bad, I don't know how south was (they probably let that go). Cincinnati roads were twice as bad as the NKY roads.

I don't get it. They know it's coming. It's not really very bad and the roads are horrible. It's warm enough that treatment is effective. I did not see one salt truck in either direction during my commute this morning.

North. I live off of 536. My parents live south of SK out in Demossville, and they say the roads out there are always cleared.

About to head out here in Louisville...Hopefully the main roads aren't like the street I live on.

Yeah, I didn't see any salt trucks either. Must of been time for coffee.

I wish I could...It's one of my friend's birthday this weekend, and she's already got the whole weekend planned out for us...Lots of bars, and free drinks...Can't say no to that!
