February 12, 200818 yr We like our covered roads, it makes the drive more interesting..:laugh: Gotta have a challenege.
February 12, 200818 yr Streets and roads in Erlanger in good shape, can not say that about the Expressway and Dixie Highway to Cincy. JD
February 12, 200818 yr Ha you are correct, and yes the salt truck stopped at the light at the top of new 17. Kinda funny how Independence is one of the fastest growing cities in KY, pretty good size, and yet always lagging in keeping it's road cleared of snow. I guess the farmer down at the end of the street got fed up with them not clearing our streets, so he pulled out the tractor. He cleared his street, and my street, and I assume cleared it all the way out to 536.

People didn't wait on government to solve the problem, they solved it themselves. My road is slushy but passable as long as you act like you have some sense. GUess I will be staying in. I like Bo Duking it too much in the snow.:jump:

It doesn't appear that he's doing all the streets, so I can imagine some of the people around here calling the city building and complaining that the city did this street, but not that.
February 12, 200818 yr The guy that owns the farm behind me clears all of our driveways and the road way before the road crews get here. They (and I) appreciate his help.
February 12, 200818 yr I'm not joking. Here in Knox County it is currently 63 degrees and cloudy. We've had no rain, snow, ice, or even frost in the past 24 hrs.

Of the three, my truck never lies to me. The bank and the utility company on the other hand.................

February 12, 200818 yr 63 degrees in Owsley County today. I went up to our golf course around 2:30 and there were several guys playing golf...one without shirt sleeves. What's with this crazy weather??? Golf in southeast Ky and snow sledding 60 miles to the northwest.
