February 12, 200818 yr 63 degrees in Owsley County today. I went up to our golf course around 2:30 and there were several guys playing golf...one without shirt sleeves. What's with this crazy weather??? Golf in southeast Ky and snow sledding 60 miles to the northwest. Al Gore would have an answer for you.:D It would be incorrect, but it would be an answer.:sssh:
February 13, 200818 yr Ok, so what are we in for tonight? In NKY it sounds like 1 to 3 inches of snow. Yesterday they predicted 3 to 5 inches and we didn't come close. So does this mean that in NKY we will just get rain? How did the rest of the state fair with correct predictions? It was a mess in NKY; but it was more of a freezing rain early in the morning, rather than the snow fall that at first was to begin falling a 8p.m. Mon. evening. Then it was going to really hit at 12 midnight; but in reallity it never really hit. Like I said, freezing rain was more of the story on Tues. morning.

February 13, 200818 yr Almost 10 p.m. and a nice dusting of snow on the ground. Haven't heard all the warnings tonight, yet at this time last night NKY had nothing and now we have maybe an inch of snow yet nothing on the tv as of yet.

I could feel the rain and sleet starting then. I could not fall back to sleep worrying about the morning commute. Driving was not good at 6:00am.
