From Holmes there's been a few. I'm sure I will miss a few, but these are off the top of my head.

Beal was my favorite...His 180's were awful fun to watch, beings he was 5'11 at best.

The best in my memory from Owsley County is Mike Turner, class of '83. He was just 6'2, but his arm length and hand size were incredible. I kept the scorebook his senior year and kept a record of his dunks. He had 18 game dunks that year, and they were of all variety. His verticle leap was measured at Transy's summer camp at well over 30 inches. And he rarely lost a jump ball tip. Reggie Hanson's brother, Arthur, of Pulaski County, was around 6'7 or 6'8, but Mike never lost a tip to him in the two years they went against one another. He was a quick leaper.

In the past five years, Henry Clay has had three of the most electrifying dunkers I have ever seen on the high school level anywhere!

 

Aubrey White (Class of 2004), Bryan Turnage (Class of 2006), and Michael Gardner (Class of 2008) can all touch up above the square on the backboard and can dunk the basketball anyway it is humanly possible. Turnage was probably the most impressive of this trio since he was barely 6'0" tall.

 

These guys have great ups, great style, and dunked often.

Rex Chapman from Owensboro Apollo was a high riser.

Went on to Georgia Tech on a full ride for High Jump and Long Jump. Set state records in track in feild for High Jump, Triple Jump and Long Jump his senior year of '99.

There was one guy from the team that had Anthony Hughes on it and I cannot remember his name.
