January 21, 200818 yr From what I hear Pulley may not be elligible, and he is rumored to have had some off the field issues as well. I'm not saying he is a bad guy I hope thing work out and he can contribute on the field I just think that QB is not for him. I think he could be a Percy Harvin type from FL. Hartline seems to me to be a better Team leader! Will you please elaborate on what brings you to fell that way? What are you basing all this on, honestly? Where does your information come from? Do you have people in Hopkinsville or there in Lexington telling you about issues, or do you stay with the team or catch all the workouts or is your information caoming from facebook? I'm just curious and I'm sure others would like to know. Surely, this thing about his brother playing at OSU has nothing to do with what you are posting, right?
January 21, 200818 yr :laugh:That was funny actually he was telling Lloyd Car that he was OH-for 6! Then he would be wrong. I think the job is Pulley's to lose.
January 21, 200818 yr I'll take Matt Lentz over both of them. Pulley can play WR. I was coming to post that about Lentz. Suited very well for the spread type offense.
January 21, 200818 yr Pulley is going to surpise a lot of people this year! He is going to be a very good QB.
January 21, 200818 yr Just saying on the field success has got little or nothing to do with character or integence... And tell me what makes Pulley such a bad guy? I'd have to disagree with this. Charactor matters on and off the field. I have seen tons of very good athletes fall to the wayside because they didn't have it between the ears. Who would you choose for your QB. The great athlete Micheal Vick who has little charactor. Or a guy like Brady who has great charactor and is nowhere near the athlete Vick is. Look back at the great players from over the years. Charactor matters. It matters a lot.
January 21, 200818 yr Hartline. Pulley is inconsistent. They should move him out to the slot, and possibly utilize him similar to the way Arkansas used McFadden.
January 21, 200818 yr I'll go with whoever Joker says is best and he said during this past season in an interview that he thought Pulley was the best. I agree.....and keep in mind that Pulley was ahead of Woodson two years ago until he got lazy. If he can keep his head straight, I think he'll be the guy.

Curtis Pulley will be the guy if he shows maturity on the field and in the classroom. He is a very unique player with a ton of natural talent.

Look back at the great players from over the years. Character matters. It matters a lot. A lot of people would have chose Vick over Brady in college... And character in college matters a lot less than you think. Sometimes a players true character doesn't show till the spotlight is in their face and the cameras are rolling. Pac-Man Jones, M.Vick, Ryan Leaf, Randy Moss, Ricky Williams and many more were very good college players but showed their true colors once they made it to the NFL, but in college they were shinning stars on successful teams...

You really get way too torn up over things about athletes from Hopkinsville. You really cannot see why people would be cautious about Pulley?
January 22, 200818 yr Pulley... But I dont think it's good him knowing he has the position... i would place it as open right now.
January 22, 200818 yr Are you serious the QB is your leader. Your team goes as he goes. I'll take a smart good decision maker QB anytime over a poor character. They both have to be good athletes or they wouldn't have a scholarship to UK. Good Leadership is invaluable! I'll take the lesser eligible athlete anyday! Someone like Art Schlichter?:fire:
January 22, 200818 yr Unless some young receivers make significant improvement, UK might be best suited to utilize Pulley at WR.
