Not really the point. Its just not as important for those schools to be good at bball as it is football. Same with UT and UF, but it just so happens they did get great bball coaches, and thus far Kennedy has been impressive at Ole Miss.

Bama and LSU have spent a LOT on basketball, and I don't mean on facilities. There is plenty of talent in those programs, yet the results don't add up. I saw it first hand over the last 6 months, and there is a reason Gotfried and Brady are on the hot seat. Those reasons don't include support and talent. I'll leave it at that...

I never have thought Brady was very good.

If you look at the talent LSU brings in to their program, a definite nomination could be made for John Brady.

Knowing Gottfried and what he did for Murray State (got them ranked in the top 25), he is a heck of a coach, but not suited for a major job. He actually reminds me somewhat of Tubby Smith.

I have another nomination... Bruce Weber.

While not among the worst coaches, Billy Clyde is certainly among the most overpaid. The man is obviously in over his head. He will either learn to swim soon or he will surface in a lower profile basketball program next season.

There's no reason to have Gillispie on this list. He has been a proven winner at every stop.

He has not proven anything at Kentucky. At least he has not signed a contract yet.

Give me a break. You can't throw a coach on the worst coaches in DI list because of a tough 6-week period that has been impacted by significant injuries.

Im not a big Dave Odom fan at South Carolina. The only time he has ever been really successful is when he had Tim Duncan at Wake Forest.

Must have missed the Rogers' years huh?

Odom's not a bad coach and did well in a private school (Wake Forest) in the ACC. Also a classy guy.

Belien (spelling?) at Michigan is having a tough time with things right now. Tommy Ammaker didn't do a lot their either. Quinn Snyder isn't at Missouri anymore but he was a pretty bad D1 coach at a major school last year.

CBC hasnt proven anything to me at Kentucky

In his entire 6-week career at UK :creepy:

CBC hasnt proven anything to me at Kentucky

So with a 2 month litmus test, that makes him the worst coach in Major D1 hoops?

Without question, John Brady...
