HammerTime Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I like both to Cover. I would buy NE down to 14.0
halfback20 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I love how everyone is already doubting the Giants so much. If they're so bad, how'd they go INTO DALLAS and win...where the Packers could not?
The Observer Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I'll take both Dogs. Feel much better about taking the Giants than I do the Chargers, but would take both none the less.
futurecoach Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I love how everyone is already doubting the Giants so much. If they're so bad, how'd they go INTO DALLAS and win...where the Packers could not? Come on now, you know that is not a good argument at all. I mean it took the Giants 3 times before the finally beat Dallas, and it took till they played at Dallas the SECOND time this year before they beat them. I mean they did the same thing Green Bay did and lost at Dallas the first time they played at Dallas. Green Bay doesn't get a second or well third chance like Green Bay. I think the main reason why alot of people are taking Green Bay is because they are also playing great like the Giants, but it is at Green Bay and its hard to win their in the cold in the playoffs. I think Green Bay will win, but It should be a great game, and fun game to watch unlike the other championship game where I expect the Patriots to win easily over the Chargers.
sweet16 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 If I was betting I think I would take the dogs on those games.
75center Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I love how everyone is already doubting the Giants so much. If they're so bad, how'd they go INTO DALLAS and win...where the Packers could not? While I expect Green Bay to win I also think the line is too high. It probably reflects the respect people have for Favre playing at home in the cold as well as the earlier game where the Giants lost pretty big at Green Bay. I would put it at a 3.5 spread if it was up to me.
bigblueinsanity Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 NY Giants have a better shot at winning than do the Chargers.

I'm just saying most people predicted the Cowboys to win too. And the Buccaneers. And most predicted the Pats to destroy the Giants. And most predicted the Giants would finish no better than 8-8 because they lost Tiki Barber. I'm going to watch the game, even if it's a guaranteed loss for the G-Men.
TubbyCAT Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Brett Favre didn't play a single second in the Packers loss at Dallas! I would think that would be enough to make a rather noticeable difference.
Latch Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I like both to Cover. I would buy NE down to 14.0 You don't need to buy it down. It looks like its down to 14 most places already.
born2reign Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I'll take the Pats, give the points. I'll take the Giants to win outright, so I'll take whatever points Vegas will give me!

The Bucs just didn't impress me to much, so I expected the Giants to win. Then well its hard to beat a team three times, and the Giants are playing really good, so I thought they beat the Cowboys as well. However I do think the Giants lose this week to the Packers. But it should be a great game to watch! :thumb:
Run To State Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I love how everyone is already doubting the Giants so much. If they're so bad, how'd they go INTO DALLAS and win...where the Packers could not? It took three tries.
