Um maybe I am wrong but I dont remember anyone saying Chad is the best player on the team. I know I have thought since 2005 that Palmer is the best player on this years team. So I not really sure where you are getting that at...

T.O. and Moss have both been great team players this year. Both are winning which makes it better and I think both had expectations put on them from day one with their coaches. The coaches have done a great job at handling them the right way too.

And you would be wrong, he is the best player on the team. And one of the top 5 receivers in the whole NFL. TJ wouldn't do nearly as good if he didn't have Chad on the other side getting doubled team every week, and making teams having to keep their safetys deep. Which allows TJ to get open all the time over the middle...

Wow your right. Not a good job to have a typo is it. It was suppose to say he is the best receiver on the team, because we were talking about the receivers on the team. I didn't realize I put player, so now I know where some of you all came up with your responses.

 

So let me say what I meant to say. Chad Johnson is the best RECEIVER on the team, and not the 2nd best like the guy said. Carson Palmer is the best PLAYER on the team...

T.O. being mentally unstable is nothing new. Some older folks will remember him scoring a playoff TD against the Vikings(??) and then mentally losing it on the sidelines.

Or was he "bawling," as in crying, on the field? I do think the press conference tears were a bit much, but I didn't see him crying on the field.

It was actually against Green Bay. He was the third receiver actually on the 49ers behind Jerry Rice and JJ Stokes, and he had dropped a lot of balls in that game, but came up with that catch at the end to win the game. It was right after Farve had drove the Packers down for the go ahead TD with only 1:30 remaining in the game...

Balling out, tearing it up, haha being awesome....however you want to put it.

Regardless if the tears were real, or even if he truly was sincere it doesn't matter. The point is he could have thrown Romo under the bus (like he has all his other QB's) and he didn't.

 

I'm not a Cowboy fan and hadn't been a T.O fan , but I don't think there is any question he was sincere in what he said. And I don't think that the tears were all in defense of Romo. Anytime you put as much time into something as these players do for their football season, it is always tough when you don't meet your goal. Especially when T.O and the boys were the #1 seed in the NFC and the obvious choice to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl prior to last nights game. People change, and T.O seems to have changed. And he may prove me wrong , but all we have to go by is the last year and I feel like he has grown up and has become the teammate everyone wants.

 

So, we're supposed to applaude him and pat him on the back for NOT being an idiot and for saying the right thing for once? "Terrell has 25 million reasons" to be a good teammate and not throw him under the bus.
