Jodie Meeks out up to 4 Weeks?

Featured Replies

I've seen this rumor floating around on the message boards for a day or two, and now WKYT is saying that it is in fact true. Supposedly it's a stress fracture in his groin area, which sounds horrible. Not good for a 'Cats team that is already struggling in the backcourt, especially on Defense.

Holy crap.

When it rains, it pours...

Are they practicing with the football team this season or what?

Not good, not good at all. At least, there is some time to heal without a game.

Not good at all. It will take him a lot longer the 4 weeks, trust me I did the same type thing my SR year in college. It sucks!

When I read "stress fracture in the groin area" I almost felt some of his pain. This is bad, bad news for the Wildcats.

Stress fracture in the groin?

Isnt the groin a muscle? If so, how can you get a stress fractue in a muscle?

Stress fracture in the groin?

There are some.....um....well.....actual bones in the "groin area". I couldn't imagine fracturing one... :scared:

Isnt the groin a muscle? If so' date=' how can you get a stress fracture in a muscle?[/quote']Often occurs in the adductor muscle or pelvic area. Generally associated with running, jumping and repetitive stress.

Can also be brought on, by improper footwear or inadequate padding. What kind of Nike shoes, are they wearing?

He has not looked the same since the first exhibition game.

Not good.

An already thin roster depleted even further.

If Billy G. ever needed back surgery, now would be the time to have it done. :D:D
