Seeing one of Louisvilles players laugh after Brohm attempted a tackle on an interception he had thrown during the second half makes me think that this team had given up on their season before the game even started.

 

It's fine and dandy to chuckle and poke a little fun at a QB trying to tackle someone (it is hillarious to watch) when you are up on a team but not when your down 17 and having the kind of season UL is having.

 

 

I still remember him catching a guy that picked him off in the red zone at the 2 as he was about to enter teh endzone. I'll never forget that one! What was even more amazing was that the D held and then blocked the field goal against MBA down in Nashville. He was a joy to watch in the Green and White. :thumb:

I Just know that I wouldnt want to be laughed at for trying to make a touchdown saving play when my team was down 17.

 

He could have easily let the guy score in a game that was already getting out of hand but he hustles and makes the play. Thats not something to laugh at when your on an under achieving team that is having a horrible season.

Im sure he was. He's a great QB. I almost feel bad that he came back to play this year. I hope he does well at the next level.

I remember an avatar 2 had of a small girl in a UK cheerleader outfit holding up a sign that said "Another moral victory". I think it's fine we point out that he is trying to claim one here.

The Cards played better than they have all season but take away the WVU mistakes and the game may very well been a blow out.

WVU did everything in their power to give this game to the Cards and still came away with the "W".

IN all honesty, U of L had something to do with "WVU giving the game away", U of L brought 25 defensive players to this game, and they all played very phsyical and with great emotion.....WVU coughed it up, but that was due to some great hitting be the defenders....

You always bring up the "elite program" comments, and I'm just curious as to who the people are that said that.

 

I did, and I look to have egg on my face at this current moment...If Coach K can take them to another BCS bowl or two in the next 3-5 years....I will regain that sentiment.

I actually laughed as well...and did it as a player....keep in mind most people that were "watching" that play knew it was coming back due to penalty, and in hindsight Brian knew that as well, he was simply giving himself insurance against suspect officiating.

Since joining the Big East U of L has been to the Orange Bowl and the Gator...I think they like their conference.

It wasn't a 'constant happening' until UofL exposed that weakness last year. That they should continue to exploit it takes nothing away from their play. Not even you can deny that.
