November 9, 200718 yr Guys .......rest easy......the Cards played very inspired tonight.....(class by White, while I write this)....go 'Eers win this thing, and represent....I am so very proud of the surCards tonight....Brian played great...e some receivers dropped the ball, but Louisville battled for 60 minutes....I can take the rest of the season, however it may end, IFF they play as they did tonight from here out....my true synopsis in a minute It's hard to catch the ball when you have both hands pushing off the defender.:sssh: A much better game overall by the Cards though.

November 9, 200718 yr WVU needs a TITLE SHOT!....A BCS that is! I think they deserve to be in a BCS game no doubt if they win out. I don't know about the title game though. I think they are behind Oregon and LSU at this point.

November 9, 200718 yr Minus one play (the freakin' 50 yard game-winning TD run), the defense played well enough to win this game. Conservative play calling CONTINUES..... White and Slayton fumble in EVERY big game, and this one was no different, we just didn't capitalize... West Virginia did EVERYTHING they could to give UL this game, and they wouldn't take it....On to USF. I've noticed that too...especially Slaton...he is fumble prone.

November 9, 200718 yr You're right, but with the hand they were dealt on the OL this year, they simply need to take what they can get....I am not a Stubbs fan, but the lack of the running game, at this junction, is not entirely his fauly. Thank God for Brian. I don't think he is a bad back at all. You can be the best running back one year and then the next be average if you don't have a good offensive line. Just think how many yards of offense UL would have if the defense had to respect the running game like they did when Bush was there. Brian would kill them on play action alone.

Deuce I realize that your post was before my post #39 but I believe that you have failed to acknowledge myself along with others saying that we were wrong. I cannot speak for anyone else but as for me I am right here and as posted - I gave the ones that predicted a close game their due. Now, seeing how you have decided to call some out on their "Opinions/Predictions" - and after all, that is all a predicton is. I will not go back and look up some threads and post that had claims and statements of some other posters but I will try to just name a few of thoses statements,probably not in the exact wording but it will be pretty close. Then I will list some Facts: 1. U.L. was said to be an "Elite National Power" and "Traditional Power". 2. U.L. was said to be another Big East Champion/Powerhouse 3. U.L. ws picked to be a "legit contender" for the National Championship for this season Now some facts: 1. U.L. is not a "Elite Program" or "Traditional Power" 2. U.L. is not a Big East Power this season 3. "Contender for a NC" ??......... U.L. is not even bowl eligible at this time. 4. U.L. is not even #1 or Elite in their own State. Again, I was wrong on my prediction and acknowledge that - the facts that I stated above are not predictions. They are the results/reality of some others statements and predictions on past threads.
