Now, to insure that they go bowling, they have to play the rest of the season with tonight's intensity. I agree on all points. On a side note, kind of sad to think a team for their standards plays solid to above average defensively but still gives up 38 points. Some credit goes to WVU, of course.
November 9, 200718 yr Not only that, but anybody that had watched the previous two UL/WVU games had an idea that neither team would blow the other one out...Both teams have had the team to do it BOTH years, and it hasn't happened yet... This is a true rivalry right now...the Big East love/needs that. Louisville regardless of record, represented tonight, and can still finish #2 in the Big East...

In honesty, they don't care either way...Louisville has made a habit of covering this century, tonight they didn't disappoint in that fashion.
November 9, 200718 yr I thought that this game would be a blowout , it wasn't so Kudos to the ones that picked a close game. I am not a fan of either team although I do love to watch the spread option attack of WVU. I don't know if that last drive for U.L. was called from the sidline, upstairs or what but Wow..............that was a college coaching course "Bad play calling 101". Looked like Coach K called all of it to me...:sssh::lol:. Great game to watch, WVU and U.L. both shot themselves in the foot over and over. I believe on my/bgp members poll this week that WVU may drop even with this win. Wasn't a very impressive "W" as far as moving up goes. There is no such thing as a bad loss though. WVU now controls what happens and if they win the Big East.

True, but obviously enough people thought a blowout may occur thus the high point spread. Also, near the end of the 3rd WVU was up 17 so let's not go calling everyone crazy.
