Actually FHS does have business playing this game. FHS program is on a different level. Not Saying FHS would have won, but if every 100% it might had been a little closer.

 

FHS used this game to prepare themselves for the playoffs.

 

OR, you could have lost more kids to injury playing a team thats not only not in your district, but also not even in your class this late in the season. It was a bad scheduling move, simple as that.

I agree it is a good game for FHS to play,if for no other reason to put things in perspective.a good thing to check egos and make kids understand where they are in the pecking order.

No reason to criticize Frankfort for stepping up ... I'd be more inclined to question North Hardin for playing a team with a fraction of their enrollment.

I wouldn't consider a 3-7 NH team the best.... But I do think by playing a bigger school, FHS shows they aren't afraid.

I agree with The Duece. Horrible scheduling for the last regulare season game. Was the Eminence game really the cup-cake game the coaches thought it would be? C'mon Fft staff, isn't it your job to get the kids ready for games (during fall break), motivate them to want the win and do your best to keep them healthy? I'm surprised we haven't heard that you say something about it being senior night, blah, blah, blah.

There's a time and place to "play anyone, anytime, anywhere," and the last game of the season is not it unless it has an affect on your playoff seedings. And it sounds like Frankfort didn't play very well at all, so tell me, how exactly did it get them ready for the playoffs? What improvements were made?

Good point Buckett. Freak injuries can even happen in practice, just part of the game. Besides Bird this year, Two years ago,Trimble QB broke his ankle in a DB drill without pads. Just keep doing what you guys are doing, because it is a heck of a job!!

Yes, the game was scheduled because our district is down. We had one tough district game this season.
