Played for Franklin County did you? For years FHS standards were so far above what KHSAA required it was almost unfair. So now that we're close to the same level as most other schools we aren't doing it the right way.

 

Maybe that's why FFT used to have a reputation as a good high school. LOWERING STANDARDS?..........That's something to brag about. Didn't help the outcome of the game evidently, but maybe Foley can put that on his resume next year after these kids get him a ring.

According to parents of players, standards (academic and discplinary) at FHS are lower than they have ever been for players. Lowering eligibility standards the afternoon before the FCHS game was not a class act. I think your people support your kids. Sounds like lots of credibility and personal issues with the staff are interfering.

Don't know the answers. Just know that some parents are really disappointed in the coach and principle about it.l

Sounds like these issues need to be discussed after the season! FHS is in a position to do something special. Hopefully for the Panthers, the players and coaches will be focused at practice and on Friday night when it matters. I wish the Panthers nothing but the best, there are a lot of great people there (Students, Coaches, and Fans), hopefully for them FHS will continue their success!!!

You know I have rarely ever posted on here, enjoy getting on and ready the post but don't get involved. As the Head Coach at Frankfort, I have my hands directly involved in any and everything that goes on with the program, from the play calling, to the colors that we wear. If someone has problems with the coaches, it includes me. The thing that dissapoints me is the fact that we have a VERY GOOD CHANCE this year to get to the carpet, but we constantly have distractions. Is it a distraction to the coaches, no, but PLAYERS get on here and read this crap and then their minds start thinking about things other than FOOTBALL. Outside of school work, there is nothing else they need to be thinking about. They don't need to worry about coaches this and that, they HAVE to do what they are told. Egos among coaches, dang right, I think I HAVE THE BEST STAFF IN THE STATE, so yes we have egos on the field, do we let it interfer with our preperation NOPE. We have a goal as a team and staff to win each and every game, when we don't sometimes we lose to better teams, other times, it is MY fault. Read the articles, I believe the eminence game I TOOK THE BLAME for the performance, not the kids. Kids have accountability, but it comes back to ME. For ANY AND ALL supporters (or so called), stop the bashing and support these guys and their run to something that hasn't been done in years at Frankfort --- a chance to play on the carpet.
