How naive are you? If the kids had the big heads because they knocked off Danville, the lost to North will have brought them back to earth quickly. As you know, the key to any loss is if your team can learn from the mistakes. You can debate all year long if playing a 6A team was a mistake, but it all boils down to if your players learned from the game.

I have to agree that playing a team like NH is a good thing for Frankfort or any team that wants to make a serious run in the postseason. You don't get better by inflating your ego and playing teams that you should beat...you play teams that will make you better. What good does it do to go 10-0 in the regular season if you have not played anyone and then get bounced in the playoffs. If Frankfort wants to take the next step and get to the semi's and finals they needed to to play out of district teams like the ones they have played this year...because so has Beechwood and Mayfield two teams likely to face off with Frankfort this year.

Frankfort was out played. They didn’t play with alot of heart... the mood at the field was just that heartless fans weren’t in it... me being one of em... I left at the half, but from what I saw Frankfort couldn’t tackle if they're life depended on it.

 

Hopefully Frankfort will put this game behind em and take care of the next five games!!!

Yes, the game was scheduled because our district is down. We had one tough district game this season.

 

Drive on over for the game this week and you and Duece both will see what the NH loss did for this team.

 

The word from Fft relatives this weekend was that the head coach was predicting a 4TD win over NH! Maybe the players beleived him. Also lots of talk about ineligibility being an issue for during playoffs. Distractions like that alway kill morale. Can't make it to the game. Will it be on the radio?

If Foley did that where players could hear him I would be shocked. I don't know if we're on the radio or not with FC being at home also.

To jump in on the argument... FHS should learn that diving at the ankles of strong runners will not take them down and that they need to wrap up. It seemed that Frankfort defenders were used to this working against other teams, but every time they tried to take out the legs from someone on N. Hardin, they put their feet right back on the ground and kept on trucking.

 

That is definitely something that can be learned and improved upon if Frankfort hopes to compete with the top teams in Class A.

Also, I think it is good to put this in perspective. Don't let the re-alignment/re-classification fool you. Just because North Hardin has 5 more As than Frankfort doesn't mean their enrollment is 3/2 the size it was last year when they only had 3 more As than Frankfort. Also, according to KHSAA stats, North Hardin's 4-year average enrollment (for boys) is almost half of that of the biggest schools (Trinity and a couple others) in 6A. So, just keep it in perspective.

 

Congrats to North Hardin for being more physical and getting the win. Frankfort, stay focused on the game ahead and you’ll do well in the playoffs.

Yeah, well at least you all are consistent...I've yet to see a time when you, the coaching staff, took blame for a loss. That has been going on for YEARS. It's always the players faults. Did you ever think that maybe you as coach didn't do YOUR job in getting the kids prepared? Did you ever think that maybe those same tired plays that you call year after year after year may be the reason for the lack of post-season success?
