Good point. I guessed they seen the light or is it the new lights on the football field. No just kidding

So have you ever been to a Campbell game?

Definitely the worst ever! Good play caller for the camel D!

He can't be that bad can he!!!!

Jamie Hubbard was at the game tonight. I didn't realize how much he grew, but I hadn't seen him since his Kenton County days.

Both teams played hard, it was a good championship game to watch. SK really took control at half time and never looked back.

Yeah it is!!!! It was horrible getting out of there. Great job Pioneers for such a great season. You guys really deserved it!!!!! Nice job by the announcer once again. I can't remember exactly but it went something like crane bounces right and then he bounces left and then he surges foward for the touchdown!!! That was classic:laugh:

Indeed the best team won tonight , SK 21 - HHS-7 CONGRATS SK:jump::ylsuper:

He can't be that bad can he!!!!

You have no idea...

Congratulations to the Simon Kenton Pioneers. A great football team with many talented athletes. It will be interesting to watch the SK football team in the short future!

Birds - you made me proud tonignt. Fought a tough game to the end. Never gave up and were sportsman walking off the field in defeat. IMO, you won the biggest battle of the year this evening.

Hold your head high. Next year's season starts Friday in the weight rooms at HHS and all over Ft. Thomas!

Congrats to the you Pioneers!!! They are building a powerhouse out in Independence...

A little premature, but things have definately been going in the right direction for the last few years.

Man who it #45 for Simon. I think that was his number. You are going to find out that he will end up being the better back at the varsity level than the other backs. When you guys start playing some of the teams in Louisville you will quickly find out it's all about speed, speed, speed.

Good point, but Crane's the faster back!! You have to realize that Crane's still only at about 80% from the partial MCL tear. Still wears the knee brace and the speed is still not there. Still runs downhill hard and is hard to bring down but the east to west, not there yet. I watched the kid play early in the year and 3 or 4 times since, including the last Highlands game. He's one of the best back's I've seen in awhile. The other thing is that every team keys on him and he earns every yard he gains. Tonight he had 171 yards (that from the SK coaches) 34 in the first half and 137 in the second half. Highlands has one of the best programs if not the best football program in the state and they knew Crane was going to carry the load for SK tonight and did everything in their power to stop him. Props to the Crane kid. He earned every yard against a very tough Highlands defense.

I doubt thats the sole reason.

Don't know much about Highlands fans, do you? Almost a hundred years of success have taught Highlands fans how to both win and lose like champions. Traffic and pc homework kept me off last night but I'm here now.

CONGRATS to SK on a monster season and Championship. Undefeated Champions makes for a special team! The O line played even better this time than last and the backs hit the holes and went for 7-8 more yards all thru the second half. Game started out looking like it was going to be a shootout as neither team could stop the other. That quickly changed. For Highlands fans it was good to see Ty out there but hated the circumstances. When he went out early this year I didn't think we'd ever see him on the field again. Whew!

As I said before the game, SK is building something that could make a lot of noise in a couple years. I look forward to following Crane as I really like how he runs.

Didn't they say something about an undefeated pee wee team last night? Looks like it will keep on going.

That was Summit View Middle they were talking about last night which sends kids to SK, Scott, and Dixie. They were undefeated last year as well.

Was this a Varsity game? I'm thinking that it is not!

You are kidding aren't you?
