Simon Kenton 21 Highlands 7 (Freshman)

I believe if you check you will see this is the first time SK has had an undeafted championship team. I believe the only other was a freshman team that only played a six game season. Check and see I may be wrong but this is what we were told by the staff at SK. I only put Highland to get you going. Never seen so much crying about and s. We know who we played and we know who we beat. This was the first SK team to beat a Highlands team since 1979. You can try to bring us down but you cant. We believe and that is all it takes. Cant never accomplished anything. Our kids have the heart to go all the way and they will. We dont need to offer free school to get good players only show the ones we have how much we care and what we will do for them. Highlands fans can naysayers all they want. They just have to face the facts we beat them hands down in two games and never showed any bad sportsmanship. they should start with teaching their kids the sport of sportsmanship first. Dont hate the players hate the game.

Easy big fella. You just broke rules #2 and #4 on this site. Their is also a part of sportmanship that applies to the winners. One must be able to win with class as well. Sk had a great year. Good luck.

Here Here!!

I think The Chris Nevels/Chad Siffel team may have gone undefeated, that would have been '93.

I have a question for HHS fans, now I can't question anything about the HHS program but I find it strange to see the head varsity coach on the sidelines, instructing the players and actually coaching during the frosh game. I'm sure it's not uncommon, I can remember Dale doing the same thing when we played them during my tenure as a frosh coach. Does this occur at any other school in NKY or the state for that matter.

Wow!!!!!!! Great post and insight about how a program is supposed to be run. I heard that Dale & Co are sending a spy over to Independence to see if they can uncover any secrets that Simon Kenton might be holding back from the rest of us.

Dont know were you are being informed from. My son is on this team and a key player and all of the key players are best of friends and ther is no talk of these kids leaving. And also as I stated there may have been another team that had a championship but I also said they did not play a 9 game regular season to get there only a six game season. I believe our staff would know more about our history than you. You Highlands people will try to put pout anyones fire thats not on your side. But as I have said you got beat by a better team. SK is know going to a contender as much as the rest of you dont want to believe that it is true. We are growing and getting better athletes than ever before. SIMON KENTON FOOTBALL ROCKS

Easy slick, I'm not an HHS fan, I'm an SK graduate. Also, I guess the staff doesn't know as much if they said the team was 6-0 because they won 8 games the year neerfan mentioned, but it is quite funny how you try to discredit that team because they played less to make your son's look better. Also, you didn't have to tell us that you were a parent you've made that quite obvious by the bias glasses you wear when posting. The kids might be the best of friends but whether you've heard it or not there is talk going on, do you think I just made it up? Whether they end up leaving or not remains to be seen. I'm just curious as to how long you've been around the SK program or high school football for that matter?

I'm making a call to KHSAA to see if that's allowed. Doesn't surprise me, we finally get a powerhouse and you all have to steal the thunder.

Above was clearly made in sarcasm for those who couldn't tell

Not sure how often it's been done or how much coaching was actually done by him. According to my son, not much. But he's not the most trustworthy source of information. :D He did say Dale always tells them that HHS doesn't have 3 teams, only one.

I'm assuming your talking about the parents or fans here? I thought the football teams played and won with class/sportmanship all year.

This is a good place to stop this drama!
