With 3 games left how do you rate UK's season so far?

I was thinking anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4 at the beggining of the season. We now sit at 6-3 with a win over #1 LSU. I know Saturday was a downer, and a game I had as a win when the season started, but I certainly didn't have LSU as a win. So in my eyes we're about where I thought we would be, and have gotten alot more national exposure than I thought we would. I look for us to go 2-1 the rest of the way which puts us at 8-4 the high end of my preseason thoughts and a very succesful season.

7-5, against the schedule they had, would have been taken by nearly everyone pre-season.

That being said, I think given where they were a couple of weeks ago, I think 7-5 is a bit of a disappointment.

I think Kentucky has done very well. They beat LSU, I mean I know LSU was banged up playing against Flordia, but they beat LSU and Lousiville. I know we blew it against Miss. St. and USC. But again, we beat LSU at home, great season!

UK has done better than I expected. If you would have told me that after a loss to Miss St they would be 6-3, ..... I would have thought you were nuts given who they had to play prior to this game. Cats will be fine. 8-4 and a good bowl game is my pick.

I picked them to go 7-5 when the season started.

So, as of now, I'm still satisfied with where they are. Yeah, they should have beat MSU, but they probably shouldn't have beat LSU...I would have guessed 5-4 at best after 9 games, so they're still ahead of the curve from my view.

If they finish 2-1, I'll be quite happy with the season.

As a true fan , I dont think that us beating LSU is a great season. After that win we have had let downs and not being able to live up to the hype that we had earned from the previous weeks. I have been to all the UK home games and no were as disappointing than last weeks. We have talent and I think that a loss from here on out the rest of the season wouldnt be a very bad thing but a disappointment. Lets finish 9 - 3 because we know we can because we have proved it over the season but I feel anything less would be a average season.

I had them as 5-7 going into the year, so technically it's all gravy now. But you have to be somewhat disappointed about the way they looked Saturday.

The thing is, few teams can bring their best, or something close, every single week. Kentucky has basically had two bad games (@ USC and MSU)...I don't think anyone is disillusioned enough to think UK can play a bad game and beat anyone outside of the cupcakes on their schedule. I went 7-5 before the season, and I figure that's the worst they'll finish, so I just can't be terribly upset no matter how this season turns out.

The SEC has been up and down all year, so I don't think we should overreact to a bad game against MSU...it was bound to happen. Hopefully, the loss will be a wake-up call and the bye week will allow them to heal up and get some rest...I really expect UK to win at least 2 of the last 3. I still think we'll get Vandy and Tennessee...the Georgia game is less likely just because it's so hard to win on the road in the SEC, but it's certainly not an unwinnable game. Georgia looked great against Florida, but remember it's the same team that lost by 21 to Tennessee...and yes, that's the same Tennessee team that lost by 39 to Florida. It's a week-to-week thing in the SEC, and if UK can get relatively healthy and bring their A game the last 3 weeks, they have a very good chance to win at least 2 of them, and maybe all 3.

Also, regardless of how they finish, remember that it's been an exciting and fun ride...we ended the losing streak to U of L on a late TD pass...we beat the #1 team in the nation in triple OT...college Gameday came to Lexington for the first time ever and we treated everyone to a very exciting game against Florida...we were rated in the top 10...we've actually been talking about UK winning the SEC East (and it's not a joke)...

UK still has a chance to win the east...if they can win out, I'm guessing they'll be a 3-way tie at least and who knows how that will turn out. It won't be easy, but as a UK fan, that's still what I'm hoping for and I absolutely think they have a chance to do it.

Coming into the year I picked them winning 6-7 games. I didn't expect them to beat UofL or LSU, but I also didn't see them losing to SC or Miss. State. For a grade right now I would give them a C+. But as for the rest of they year, they need to atleast win 2 more games to go 8-4 and not let all the fans down. I know a 8 win season is good and all, but not when you look at beating UofL, beating Arkansas on the road with a big Heisman runner, and beatingthe #1 ranked team in the country.
